Dear Parents/Carers
I hope you all enjoyed the half term break and had time to relax with your children.
As I’m sure you are aware, the Prime Minister set out plans for ‘Living with COVID’ as of Monday 21 February. Having read the updated guidance, the key changes for us are as follows:
- Staff and parents are no longer advised to undertake twice weekly LFD testing although we will continue to advise anyone experiencing symptoms to take a test.
- Even though the legal requirement to self-isolate if you test positive for COVID19 has now ended, it is still strongly advised that you do so.
- Please do let us know if your child has tested positive, it is advised that you keep your child at home following the latest guidelines (please see link below).
- As of 24 February, contact tracing has ended. Fully vaccinated contacts are no longer required to self-isolate or advised to take daily tests.
- Mask wearing – It is now up to each individual to decide if it is beneficial for themselves and for others around them to wear masks. The public are encouraged to continue to follow public health advice as with all infectious diseases such as the flu, to minimise the chance of catching COVID and to help protect family and friends. This includes letting fresh air in when meeting indoors, wearing a face covering in crowded and enclosed spaces where you come into contact with people you don’t normally meet and washing/sanitising your hands regularly.
The latest government guidance, published on 24 February, can be viewed following the link below:

Kind Regards
Mrs H Adair.
