2 Year Old Admissions
Once your child turns 2 we can offer a place in our 2 year old room. We have both funded and paid for places available. To check your eligibility please go to https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/
You can apply for a nursery place any time before your child turns 2. It is always best to get your application in as early as possible to secure a place. To apply, please complete our 2 year old application form and return it to the school office using o.howletch200@howletchlane.co.uk or come to the main office to collect one. If you would like to book a visit prior to applying, please contact the school office.
Nursery Admissions
Our Nursery have various intakes throughout the school year. You can apply for a nursery place any time before your child turns 3. It is always best to get your application in as early as possible to secure a place. To apply for a nursery place, please complete the NA1 form and return it to the school office using o.howletch200@howletchlane.co.uk. You can also come to the main office and collect one in person. If you would like to book a visit prior to applying, please contact the school office.
All children are entitled to free 15 hours of nursery care a week, for 38 weeks of the year. To check if you are eligible for 30 free nursery hours, please go to https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/
Primary Admissions – Reception to Year 6
Howletch lane Primary School has a published admission number (PAN) of 60.
The Local authority oversee all admission arrangement for our school including admission arrangements for children with SEND. Full details can be found on the Durham County Council website, school admission process.
